Why Blue Should Not Represent Sadness

Photo by Mary Vee At this very second I am looking outside and seeing a blue sky. Generally speaking, when there is a blue sky we're happy, right? The sun shines. There isn't a gray cloud anywhere. I can go outside and hike with a short-sleeved shirt since this is late spring.  Photo by Mary Vee, Big Sky, Montana I love the color blue. Many men and women choose blue as their favorite color. So, who chose the color blue to represent sadness?  Photo by Mary Vee, Lake Michigan I am here to report that Sally Cerulean is tired of the color blue receiving a bad rap. When her local state, known for gray clouds, happens to have a Maya blue sky and warm sun rays shine on farmer fields and beaches, she's happy. Or when the vast Turkish blue Great Lake waters invite boaters, fishermen, and swimmers to play, crowds are happy.   Photo by Mary Vee Every object in her house is a shade of blue. Her car is blue.
