Book Review: Anita Higman's "Winter in Full Bloom"

I turned the last page of Winter in Full Bloom and simply had to tell you about this book. I don't post a review of every book I read. I wouldn't waste you time making you wade through a rant about something I didn't like or a monologue attempting to convince not only you but myself why a book needed to be read. Nope. I will only post book reviews on this site of those that tickled my fancy in some way.  This book made the cut. From the exceptional lovely cover (see photo) to the name of her characters, Lily Winter--isn't that a picturesque name and so matching of the cover, to the guided tour to the best of Australia, this book doesn't miss any opportunity to provide what any reader wants in a cozy read. One of the greatest components of this story is Higman's writing craft. I especially enjoyed her fresh descriptive phrases that leap off the page like: "The rain clouds let go in a big way as if the angels were pelting us with millions...
