As I packaged up our materials and printed out maps ahead of time--okay I know I could use GPS, etc, but I like to see the map. One particular city caught my attention. It will be only 1 1/2 hours from one of our destinations. I'm not sure if we can squeeze it in, but wouldn't it be great to see: Seriously!! Call me crazy. I would love to slide this in to our schedule. It may take some extra smooth talking with hubby. Maybe next week I'll have a pic for you from there. Back to our adventure. Photo by Mary Vee I sat with my daughter in a coffee shop on a busy street near her college. She chose window seats. Not a booth. We sat on chairs that nestled up to a counter along the window. Of course, we had loads of fun people watching while sipping our coffees. Do you know what happens when you people watch! LOL You see people. Real people. Not someone putting on an act or trying to impress someone. This is when the real personalities sneak out. First let me say that my childlike nature came out full throttle. My daughter and I made no attempts to hide the fact that we were people watching. That alone created some hilarious moments.... Like the businessman walking past wearing a full suit. He had perfectly groomed hair and happened to look at the coffee shop window. My daughter and I smiled. He scrunched up his face as if to say--do I know you?  Muwhahahaha. Or the dad/kid totem pole.
