The Foundation is Finally Up

I have waited a long time..

Plotted and planned...

Watched others and learned...

Asked for help, a critical eye...

Then modified.

I have floundered, debated, and found a place to settle.

The building blocks are all in place and the mortar has dried. 

I now have the gathering place--my official author's website.

This website: 
**Defines the type of writing I enjoy
**Links all the blogs I write for, 
**Will someday advertise my published books (You will be the first to hear! Well maybe the 
          second. I'll tell my family, first.)
**And provide all the great things an established author gives.
         (I hope to be one someday)

I'm still trying to figure out how to link the website with my Facebook, Twitter, etc. I have time to keep learning this and more. As I do, you will see this website blossom.

I found the button to follow the website. The company automatically did it for me. Since this is a website and not a blog, there won't be many updates to clog your email. Consider signing up for the updates.

One last bit of news. Do you want to know what my latest manuscript is about? It truly has been the best project I've worked on to this point. 

      Liz Tomlin’s shortcut home through the alley after school introduces her to homeless girls her age. She shares food and chats for the ten minutes they stay. It was a way to help the less fortunate and made her feel good.

On her walk home one day, though, Liz listens to a frantic voice mail from her mother. Someone was trying to kill her parents. Tires squealed in the background. Her father yelled to her mom to destroy the chip in the phone to protect Liz. Mom’s last words were, “Trust no one.”

There is much more. But you'll have to wait. Maybe--just maybe--this will be the book chosen by an agent and publisher.
